Complete List of National Parks in India: National parks are the protected area or conservation area by Government which is necessary for the purpose of protecting and propagating or developing wildlife or its environment, due to its natural, ecological, floral, fauna, geomorphology, or zoological value or importance. No human activity is allowed inside the national park.

* In India there are 104 (one hundred four) National Parks.

* 1st National Park in India: Jim Corbett National Park (Earlier name was Hailey National Park)

* India's Largest National Park: Hemis (Jammu & Kashmir)
